RESPONSIBILITIES OF MEMBERS

As a cooperative, we work together to maintain the house and try to make life at Nottingham better. As such, we all have important responsibilities that we need to keep up with. Here is a list of the responsibilities that house members have:​

  • 1 Hour of kitchen clean-up every week

  • Making dinner for housemates once every 3 weeks

  • 1 Bathroom Job per week (examples below)

    • Toilets​

    • Sauna

    • Bathtub

    • Shower

    • Floors

    • Sink

    • Countertops/ mirrors

  • Attend house meetings once every two weeks and general membership meetings when they happen. (Meetings can last between 1 and 4+ hours. Average time is about 2.5 hours)

  • $500 Deposit

  • Roomshare

  • $60 - $100 Foodshare per month

  • 2 House Jobs (some examples below)

    • Membership Coordinator​

    • Maintenance Coordinator

    • Treasurer

    • Cleaning Ballroom

    • Cleaning spiral staircase

    • Cleaning 2nd floor hallway

    • Cleaning 3rd floor hallway

    • Organizing Attic

    • Organizing the Free Closet

    • Watering house plants

    • Taking the trash up the hill
